born without belly buttons.
The belly button or navel is formed by the umbilical cord, the tube
which gave you life in the womb. This cord is attached to your internal
organs, but shrivels once the placenta is no longer needed, leaving
a little pucker in your abdomen.
Some unlucky babies suffer hernia-like problems in the womb. An
Omaphalocele is when the baby's bowel protrudes into the umbilical
cord. This requires surgery and can result in scarring and no belly
button. Another condition called gastroschism occurs when the bowel
protrudes through a hole in the abdomen, again requiring surgery.
Then there are those whose umbilical cord is not properly surrounded
by muscle and skin, only a thin membrane. After birth, surgery is
required to cover the hole, or the baby will die. This too can mean
the person has no belly button.
Some people just lose theirs through abdominal surgery such as hernia
operations, which results in scarring. Plastic surgeons can replace
a missing belly button, and its surprising the number of people
who want it back.

Venta was the leader of a cult called WKFL (for Knowledge, Faith
and Love) who told his followers he was Jesus Christ and tried

1997 Hippy group The Rainbow had to redefine their membership
